We believe there is one god in three persons -Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; I John 5:7).
We believe the Word of God, the Bible, is inspired and infallible (II Tim. 3:16).
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, His sinless humanity, His death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to heaven, and His personal coming again (John 1:1-2, John 1:14).
We believe that salvation is by faith in Christ alone, without works, and solely by grace (Eph, 2:8-9). But we also believe that there must be true repentance. Without repentance there is no forgiveness of sins (Acts 3:19; Luke 13:3-5).
We believe that a person's salvation should be made public through water baptism. Baptism is not for infants but for those old enough to believe with all their heart (Acts 8:36-37). Water baptism is by complete submersion (Rom. 6:3-4; Acts 8:38).
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is not for receiving the gift of tongues but for receiving of power to be Christ's bold witnesses through out our community and the world (Acts 1:8). A person can receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at salvation or at a seperate experience (Acts 8:14-17).
We believe the gift of tongues is for today but we do not believe that a person must speak in tongues in order to be saved. Not everyone is given this gift. (I Cor. 12:28-31) God the Holy Spirit give the spiritual gifts as He wills (I Cor. 12:7-8, 11).
